  1. It's a good idea to change your blog header often, it shows the variety of locations you've been too. You seem to have stopped grouping photos into one, reasons please. Cheers Jimu

    1. Hi Jimu, you'll see that the groupings will be back soon. It takes a fair bit of time to process the photos and a lot more to group them as well so when I'm a bit rushed I'll leave them single. Although sometimes I can't choose which to group because they all look great as singles!

    1. Hi Phillipa, thankyou so much for your compliments, you are too kind! I'm also pleased you've enjoyed reading my blog. Maybe one day someone will approach me although I have had a few photos published in various mags in the past & just last week NZ Geo were keen on one particular photo but unfortunately with my limited access to data while on the move I couldn't give them a high res photo in time.

  4. I stumbled across your blog whilst researching our trip to NZ next year. We have hired a campervan for a month and will be travelling both islands (South to North). Your pictures are exquisite (!!) and I am now a little afraid - so much amazing things to see - one month is not even close to long enough... (we'll be there for the month of April)... shall continue to enjoy your entries and try to whittle down to 4 weeks worth of adventure!! I can see I shall be a long term reader now (and might have to start planning the next visit before the first has even started). I promise we will be the 'good' type of campervan tourists and take on board some of the comments made about what is most annoying about the bad kind. thanks so much for sharing your stories and adventures :)

    1. Hi Maria, thanks for your comments and I'm pleased you're enjoying the blog. Four weeks is not a lot of time for both islands but it's more than most visitors have. You'll have a ball, just don't try to cram in too much and allow plenty of travel time. We may look small but the distances are deceiving, often complicated by long winding narrow roads. Make a 'must do' list and plan you're travel around that. Have a second list of possibles, cross any off that aren't near your final route and keep this second list to hand for when you have any spare time while travelling (you won't ;) ). Final piece of advice- relax and enjoy.
